Feeling off colour!

Usually I get up whatever time a cat calls or the pain gets too much, but today Blue was pestering to go out from 5.30 am and I gave in a little before six and most usually got straight back into bed as I really just didn’t feel too bright. When I was up I didn’t do a lot to start with and then I had a really funny tummy and stomach cramps which lasted for a while. I did wander down the road to post the card I made.
A few days ago I did try putting salt on some of the weeds and hadn’t seen much happening, but today there were two dandelions near to each other on the gravel, one salted and one not. Definitely a difference now!
I pottered a bit, fed the birds, wrote a letter and did a couple of crosswords. After lunch I decided to post the letter and walk slowly down to the seafront. A couple of pics and a cuppa before returning home.
The wall on the leisure centre is interesting, appears to imitate dry stone walling, haven’t really looked closely at it before.
Kitty’s is a small gift shop in the town, I have bought things there occasionally. In the window today there was a shelf with everything on it £1. I went in and bought all five of these lovely little Indian style tea light holders.
I felt exhausted by the time I got home so apart from getting dinner and using cans to water the sunflowers and bonsai trees, have done little else. Still not feeling great so probably won’t be late to bed tonight.

  1. Not like you to go back to bed and sleep, so you must have been feeling rough. Glad you managed to get out for a bit of a stroll though. The sea air is supposed to do you good. Not sure it’s true though 😊
The salt seems to work well on the weeds. You may clear that drive totally yet! Certainly easier than pulling or digging the roots out, and then you only have to leave a little bit for it to return. 🤞
I like your little tea light holders. Not bad for the price.
I do hope you manage to get a bit better night tonight and feel better tomorrow.
