Bed looks weird, that is because the covers are over the bed frame!
I fed the birds as usual and a couple of light chores. The white poppy is blooming now.
I sat in the recliner for a while, so my little friend joined me.
Angela did come and called me soon after one and we went and had lunch at the garden centre. We chatted and had another drink before heading back to Hornsea. I have done some sewing today, but more of that another day, haven’t been taking photos of progress will just post the finished article..
I have watered the gardens this evening, the bed in the front garden is getting quite colourful now.
Since being indoors, after her tea, Pandora joined me again for a while.
Visit day tomorrow so won’t be over energetic again!
In a lot of ways it’s good you’re having a bit of time resting, but it would be much better if it wasn’t pain that was facilitating it. Hopefully a few days of taking things easy will help you get back to normal…..ish. At least Pandora seems to be making the most of it. Cats are lazy 😊🐈⬛
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you managed to get out for a while with Angela. Stopped you going totally stir crazy I bet.
The front bed really is looking nice and colourful. Shame you have to keep watering everything. It takes such a long time. Apparently we are in for a heatwave this weekend, so looks like the hose will be out every evening, unless all the hot weather misses you that is.
Hope you, and Pandora, are having a relaxing evening.
Will have to get her to move soon so that I can make a drink! The watering is a pain, but it’s that or sit back and watch everything die!
ReplyDeleteIt was good to have lunch at the garden centre and I didn’t buy anything except lunch!
