I have started to sort things out into the rucksack in readiness for the journey on Monday.
I have watered the back garden this evening, was really struggling with the leg pain by the time I had finished,
The plant on the cordiline are very weird. I had real trouble getting a picture in focus as they are quite small and in the shade!
The outside asparagus fern has tiny flowers on now, it is really lovely.
Another plant that is a bit hidden has sprouted an amazing flower.
I went up to Skipsea church with Tina, she was taking a fun flower arrangement she had done as they are having a flower festival tomorrow with the theme celebrations. Bet there won’t be another one like Tina’s with artificial flowers and sweets!
Will finish with a fabulous photo and a good news story. European bee eaters have returned to Norfolk.
You’ve had a varied day then. I bet tomorrow will definitely be another in the garden trying to get everything spic and span before your trip down south. It is looking really nice again. Even better now Rob has gone and you’ve got a helper that actually knows what they’re doing 😄
ReplyDeleteSome nice pics of the various flowers tonight. All looking really good, including the plastic ones 😂
Didn’t know we ever had colourful birds like that in this country in the first place. See, global warming is all that bad if the warmer climate here attracts the wildlife back.
Hope you have a list of things you need to pack in the rucksack, or you’re bound to forget something!
Too hot and humid today to spend too much time outside, there was supposed to be rain tomorrow but now it looks like we will miss it again!
ReplyDeleteI think we will go to the boot sale again in the morning, hopefully will be there before it gets too hot!
