I have been enjoying the online jigsaw puzzle site and the recent ones are really colourful and a nice surprise when they are completed!
When the rain eased I walked round to see Sher and gave her the container I bought at the boot sale for her to make a terrarium.
At lunch time set off with Tina to go to Eastfield garden centre where we had afternoon tea. They do a savoury alternative so she had ordered one of each. The savoury one also had a cheese scone and half a scotch egg which you cannot see in the picture.
We shared it amicably and even brought cake home for Darren. Lots of tea to drink and very tasty food. We had spotted some great recycled pots before we ate and went and bought one as well as a lovely delphinium to go in it.
I have made another card this evening.
Feeling quite weary now and have a sleepy cat on my lap! May be joining her as I was up before six again this morning.
I’m sure David will be more than happy to get that card. I can’t imagine many people will go to the trouble of making special ones for him.
ReplyDeleteThe puzzle pics are really great! The multicoloured lion is lovely.
I like the look of the afternoon tea. It’s a good idea doing a savoury version as not everyone like sweet stuff. I’m lucky I’ll eat both š Bet that tasted really nice. Even Darren didn’t get left out!
I can see why you were drawn to the pot. Very colourful. I wasn’t exactly sure what a delphinium was, but I can see why you like them, it’s very pretty.
Not surprised you’re weary, it’s been a long day for you and yesterday wasn’t so good either. Hope you get a better night tonight.
The afternoon tea was really good, like you I would happily eat either.
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying the colourful puzzles, quite addictive really.
The pot is 100% recycled plastic and funky too!
