I did go out and stake a few more of the sunflowers, they are doing well but every day one or two more have started to keel over!
Sat out in the garden with Tina for a while, watching the abundant wild like and squabbles! We have been having seagull versus crow wars for a while now! Then I sat indoors doing the jigsaw for a while, listening to an audio book and using the Revitive which has been in the cupboard for a while. The puzzle does have quite tricky areas.
I have filled several watering cans ready to do essential watering in a little while when it is cooler. I will just post some more flower pics to finish.
What with the bad night and the hot weather it sounds like taking it easy was definitely the best choice, although I’m sure you had plenty of jobs lined up you really wanted to get done. At least you got a couple of essential jobs done out there.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice of Angela to take you to your appointment. I hope the new medication actually helps a bit, when you finally get it that is. A nice lunch helps the day along too, and takes your mind off all the things that need doing, for a little while at least.
The sunflowers do look like they’re doing well. How do they actually grow in the wild if they fall over so easily? I’m surprised any ever make it through.
Did the Revitive help at all while you were puzzling?
I really like the first flower pic. A really nice angle with the colourful flowers against the White House. It works really well.
It would be good to get the pain under control, so we will see. May phone about the X-ray tomorrow but won’t hold my breath.
ReplyDeleteThe sunflowers may have straightened up again but ai am worried that if we do get thunderstorms they will be broken as they haven’t got very think stems yet.
Only used about eight cans of water tonight. With no rain on the horizon it will be the hose marathon again tomorrow I think.
