Filey bird and animal park

Today will be a little writing and a lot of photos. Tina had a couple of appointments this morning so we sent out late morning and had lunch at Eastfield garden centre before driving to Filey bird and animal park. Our first visit this year but we had bought annual passes as we both really love it there. Most pics are self explanatory, there is one of Tina looking at the wild flower area and another one of her by a tall grass we both liked but she decided to be in it! I managed to get the chipmunks by getting really close to the wire so it focused on them!
This plant was alive with bees, will try and find out what it is!
We love the African grey parrots, they are Charlie and Popeye. Popeye pulls his feathers but he is adorable and came to see us when we called him.
That turkey was really trying to impress his lady today!
My leg was painful today but I took the rollator and we took our time a we chat to the animals! When we got home I went to the chemist and waited while they made up my new prescription and have take the first dose. So fingers crossed on that one.
Have watered the gardens and will now relax a bit before bed!

    Glad you both got out for a little trip. I know you always enjoy them and mostly end up giggling like school kids 😄 Beautiful day for it, and lots of nice animals too. I like the pic of the Rev in the grasses. Did she think she was back in Zimbabwe? 😊
    Is the white one a chipmunk too? I love the way it has its head cocked to the side in the first pic. As if to say “what are you doing?”
    I like Charlie and Popeye. Poor Popeye does look a bit bald in that pic, but sensible in this weather 🦜
    It really is a great place to visit, and you have some really good pics to show for it. I can see why you buy an annual pass.
    You’d be lost without that rollator now. It does make life a bit easier for you, and it’s good to always have a seat handy! I like that idea for myself.

    Yes, the white one is a chipmunk too. It was a lovely day, l most too warm in fact, so hope we will use the passes a few times and wander round again. There are new pens going up all the time and the animals look happy and well cared for, lovely staff too.
    Ever hopeful that the pills will make a difference,
