I cleaned the sewing box that I bought for pens a few weeks ago and then sorted the pen drawer out so that they are now in their new home, pleased with how that worked out.
Spent a couple of hours in the garden and managed to hoe and do some weeding in all the beds in the back garden, hopefully the rain will come and will sink into the beds easier now, I filled the garden cart with weed again, the drought hasn’t stunted their growth!
I walked round to the church to take some rhubarb for Jean, I forgot to cut her some when she visited on Friday. There was a bee having a great feed on a flower, bit blurred in the first pic but caught the smaller bee in flight beautifully!
Dinner done and dusted and going to watch a new episode of Van Der Valk this evening,
You were very restrained with your buying today! I think the container for a pound was definitely a bargain. You’ll have to take another pic when Sher has planted it. Your bargain from the other week worked out great for the pens. You’re very good at spotting things that can be used for other things rather than their actual use. At least you’ll know where your pens are now!
ReplyDeleteI think you did well to work on all the beds in the back garden. That’s no mean feat. I hope you haven’t overworked the gammy leg. With any luck you’ll get a bit of rain overnight.
You did very well to catch that bee in flight as the focus on it is pretty good. Amazing what you can do with a phone!
Enjoy your program. I think you’ve earned some feet up time.
First lot of ads, good start.
ReplyDeleteYes, the container was a good spot and pleased to have got the pens sorted.
I think the rain has arrived so the plants will be getting a drink, 👍🏽
