Out with Judi and some gardening

Judi is back in Hornsea for a few days so we went to the garden centre and had a sausage sandwich and a natter this morning. We had an hour or so and then she was off to catch up with someone else. Lots of people want to see her and see how she is finding being a novice nun. It certainly seems to have been the right decision which is lovely. I sorted out some more washing and did a couple of household chores and also popped down to the shops.
After lunch I decided to go and tackle an area in the garden I had planned to work on, but won’t little enthusiasm today. Lots of ground elder, nettles and various other unwanted plants! Making it very dark in there as well as choking the plants I wanted there.
It may not seem a lot different but I have a mountain of rubbish to find a home for again!
As I had started thought I would tidy the bed that has a lovely display foxgloves as well as weeds!
Not too big a job but a bit tidier for now,

Sal and Carol came in this evening to time Darren and me haircuts, then after tea I went out and watered both gardens. I had considered doing some craft this evening but too tired to bother now!

  1. Glad you had a good time with Judi. I know how much you like her. So pleased to hear that becoming a novice has been the right choice for her.
I thought you’d end up doing a bit of gardening at some point today. Both beds look a lot better after a bit of TLC. Sounds like you’re building up a lot of garden rubbish. Maybe Darren could be persuaded to make a couple of runs to the tip in exchange for a nice homemade cake 😄
The crafting will wait until another day, so put your feet up and watch some telly.

  2. Hopefully I will get to visit Judi in London before the year is out. Could do with a visit to a museum or two.
Another bit of clearing done, will get all round some time, ever the optimist!
