Thanks Mike for the tip!

I had the morning indoors doing some washing and changing the bedding. Mike had sent me a clip showing a easy way to change a quilt cover called the burrito method. I was dubious but thought it was worth a go and it is ingenious and a lot less stressful. Later in the day I helped Tina change the cover of her super king size duvet, so look it up if you struggle with that particular job,
The last couple of nights I have begun a jigsaw, only a 500 piece but the big wheel in the corner was actually quite tricky!
This afternoon I went to see Sarah and David then after dinner got the rest of the plants into the garden with Tina’s help which was nice. Then I did water both gardens but the knee was really painful so it was a struggle. Things really seem to be on a downward slope at the moment. Just some garden photos, the last one was of a shrub enjoying the watering!

  1. I’m pleased the little tip worked for you. I didn’t quite get my head around it and gave up, but now I know you were successful I’ll definitely try again. Anything for an easy life as quilt changing is a nightmare!
Jigsaw puzzles are a nightmare too! In fact most things are these days, or it could just be me I suppose 😄
Nice of the Rev to give you a helping hand with a bit of gardening, as it sounds like you’re really struggling at the moment with the knee ☹️
I have watering duties this week, but on a slightly smaller scale than yours, thankfully. Four days of it will be my fill of gardening for a few years, unlike you who seems stuck with it for life!
    Really like the last pic.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

  2. I won’t be doing a lot in the garden tomorrow and may even be able to leave the watering depending on the weather.
Good to have all the new plants in the ground and great to get a bit of help with that.
