Get that leg moving!

The operated leg didn’t feel quite so bad today so thought I would catch the bus to Freeport, have a wander around and probably catch the bus home. I had a drink soon after arriving and then found a couple of bargain books in The Works. I had been looking for some pretend light bulbs that Mike told me about but they didn’t have any.
I walked up to the top shops and bought this very cute ornament. Will probably put it out in the fairy garden when I can be parted from it, as it makes me smile!
I had a drink and then decided to take a steady walk back. When I got to the roundabout I decided to take a walk along the trail for a while.

I carried on to the sea front and was feeling tired and a bit achey so stopped for an ice cream.

Paul and his son had arrived today and the fence panels are now going up, it will seem quite strange when it is finished!
I have done a couple of chores this evening and got the die cutter out to make a tactile card for David. I started the embroidery kit last night and may do a bit more this evening. It is using wool at the moment and I am enjoying it.

  1. Glad the leg wasn’t quite so bad today. Obviously gentle exercise = good, digging = bad!
Always good to get bargain books. I bet the I BEFORE E book has some good tips. With a memory like maybe I should consider getting one. Trouble is I forget what I’m supposed to be getting once I’m in the shop 😊 I love the ornament. It’s soooo cute. I don’t think I’d put it in the garden, seems a shame.
You picked a reasonable day to walk back from there, it looks lovely in the pics. How tempted were you to try walking across those pipes?
An ice cream on the sea front is just rubbing it in. If I was lucky enough to live there I’d live on coffee, ice cream and fish and chips. Yes, I know I could anyway, but it’s different by the sea.
The fencing looks good. Will definitely make it a bit more private, plus deter any oiks from jumping the wall!
A crafty evening for you then. The embroidery will look good when it’s done. Have you a use for it, or will just be to display.
Supposed to be nice again tomorrow, so maybe fish and chips by the sea? 😊

  2. It was a pleasant day for a leisurely walk as I did take it nice and easy.
The embroidery kit is designed as a decoration and will stay in the hoop with the spare fabric trimmed away.
Good to see the panels going up, should be finished tomorrow.
