It was nice and bright but a very chilly wind. We went back to Anya’s then and she cooked a really nice dinner while I watched the new version of Murder on the Orient Express with Isobel and Louis. We had a game of the tile Rummy game and when Anya brought me back to Rachel’s. I have gathered most of my stuff together and now just having a restful evening. Home tomorrow but being taken by Anya so no getting on and off trains with lots of stuff.
I’ve not been to Grimsthorpe Castle for year, but I do remember it being a lovely place to visit. Looks like you picked a great day to go too with all the sunshine we’ve had today. You have some really nice pics. I can’t get over how grown up Isobel is now. Blimey, time does fly. What were Isobel and Louis doing in the photo, looks like they’re dancing? 😄
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a lovely day again. Hopefully this weekend has been relaxing for you, even though you have been on your feet a fair bit. Back to normal life again tomorrow. That seems to have come around way too quick. At least with Anya taking you home it cuts out a bit of stress with train changing etc.
So, when are you getting a hot tub? 😄
I hadn’t been there before and the history of the house and the artefacts they have is fascinating and the wander round the grounds was lovely.
