Garden and moon

I went across to the refill shop over the road this morning, after the food delivery had arrived. The dark red/purple tulips are so tall and that front bed is getting colourful now.

The magnolia trees both look quite healthy but only one flower between them this year!
I went along to the URC as they had a Fair Trade sale. Got a nice bag that was reduced as they had had it for some time.
I spent a good while in the garden, this time in the back by the fence next to Lucian’s. To say it was overgrown and not looking like a bed would be a fair description.
So some digging and hoeing and edging later…..(sorry knees).
I went along to the Easter service at Skipsea church with Tina this evening. I think this is a great tapestry and quite appropriate!
The moon was misty and pink on the was back, one blurry pic taken out of the side window as we were driving and another blurry one where we stopped but had the phone on maximum zoom.

Took some with the camera when we got home.

Early to bed tonight as a very early start tomorrow to make sure Tina gets to her sunrise service.

  1. The front bed does look nice. Lots of colour in there. Not sure the ratio of colour to work that goes into it is very good though! One magnolia flower is better than none. The bed by the fence looks a lot better after the attention you gave it, but the digging and edging isn’t good for your legs. You’ll probably suffer tomorrow now ☹️
I quite like the tapestry too. A lot of work has gone into that. A much better hobby than gardening 😄
I like the pic of the moon from the moving car, it’s quite funky. I also like the last one you took with the camera.
A busy day for you, and another busy one tomorrow. Give the Rev your alarm clock, it’ll save you having to get up. You spoil her 😊😇

    1. Feeling weary now, a full day really. Will have to disturb my cat leg warmer so I can get to bed!
