Changeable weather

This morning it was quite bright early on and didn’t seem as cold as the wind had dropped considerably but during the day it has changed frequently, bright sunshine and blue skies then grey clouds and wintry showers. April is supposed to be the month of showers! Bel came round to me this morning and we had a good natter. After lunch I went off to see Jean, she lives near the Floral Hall so a little bit of a walk today and the legs weren’t so painful, so walking more seems to help but whether ai keep it up is another matter. Quite bright when I walked down by the sea.

Had a lovely visit with Jean and we found out a bit more about each other’s lives, as although we get on well I haven’t met up with her very often. Her husband bought us tea and biscuits so a very relaxed afternoon. Walking back by the sea it was in and quite lively!

I bought some pens yesterday, supposedly blendable, that does sort of work but they are brush pens and quite good fun to use. Have been making some simple Easter cards.

Watching Grantchester in a bit and will make a couple more cards.

  1. It’s been a changeable day here too. Snowing this morning, then a combination of brilliant sunshine and more snow and rain! Extremely chilly most of the time though.
I really like the pics of the front today. The sunshine and the blue skies with the really choppy water makes for some lovely shots. I’m sure the walking is good for you, but it’s not easy to keep it up all the time. I walked back from town today and my legs were really aching by the time I got home, plus I was knackered! I’m getting to be a real old fart these days 😊
I think your cards look really nice. Bet you’ve got loads more to make. You know way too many people 😊
I’m looking forward to Grantchester tonight.

  2. It was a nice day catching up with a couple of friends, and a walk by the sea.
I am enjoying using the pens.
