Yesterday evening I kept sewing, luckily Tina had a good stapler so I was able to get the foot stool finished.
This morning I had a hair appointment at 10 am so walked up there in good time. Didn't take the selfie until I got home and I had been wearing my hat, but I am very pleased with the cut and colour. Joanne's baby is due in just over a month so I will have to go somewhere else next time. She is only planning to take nine weeks off after he is born.
I took a walk down through the old town as I had felt I needed to get a bit more active even though the ankle is still far from right! Took these shots of two great old boats/ships in the harbour.

Nice shot of the lighthouse from a similar position.
I walked home round the coastal walk, the gulls are nesting in the cliffs and it is very noisy (a nice noisy in my opinion) There were plenty of them in the sky as well!
Walked by the castle.
And this great building.
I had to lean over the sea wall to try and catch this little bird, on the left of the picture!
The sea was crashing against the rocks.
I have walked round the sea walk between the bays a lot of time, but don't think I have ever walked by this wall. If I have I hadn't registered it! I sat on one of the lower levels for a rest.
Felt weary when I got home so haven't done a lot this afternoon.

  1. Lots of lots of pictures today. The weather looks like it was quite pleasant, apart from in the lighthouse picture where the sky looks very moody. Particularly like the sky full of birds, as it's quite unusual to see that many in one pic.
Not really surprised you felt weary, it's quite a long walk around those bays!
Like your hair, it looks really nice. Very inconsiderate of her to have a baby and take time off though :-)

    1. Not sure why "lots of" appeared twice at the beginning of that. Damn internet fairies!

    3. Damn, why didn't I think of that. Could have used it as my excuse :-)

  2. Was very pleasant out, the wind was a bit chilly but that is fairly usual here, especially on the front. The birds left the cliff en mass a couple of times and I couldn't really see or hear what had set them off!
