It is a bit further on now as the fish didn’t arrive until a quarter past four.
I did go out in the garden for bout an hour before having some lunch. The new hand hedge trimmer is okay for small jobs.
The side of the garden by the wall (the front garden) was full of bramble, bind weed and sticky weed, so a bit of a challenge,
A fair amount of bramble removed.
That was enough of being out in the heat for a while, but a reasonable clearance made.
I did go out again this afternoon but decided to clear the path to the bin again!
Another hour or so and a visible path for a day or two!
The washing dried outside which is good.
Darren was held up at work so I got dinner for when he got home,
I will go and do some watering a bit later so tht it doesn’t immediately evaporate!
Wish I was a vicar. They nip off on jollies and leave all the jobs to someone else 😊
ReplyDeleteI hate having to wait in for things. Specially when the delivery times are so spaced out. I don’t mind if it’s like 1 till 3, and they stick to it. Otherwise I’m a grumpy old sod 😊
The jigsaw is coming on. Whiled away a few waiting about hours. I knew you’d end up in the garden at some point though. You got a bit done, even with the heat as it was. Not a nice job at all. It does look better on the bits you worked on. Glad the small trimmer is proving useful.
I’m sure those plants on the bin path are triffids. It doesn’t seem that long since you last did it!
You’ve had quite a full day one way or another, and watering as well.
Think you deserve a restful evening.
The garden seems like a triffid invasion sometimes!
ReplyDeleteI did a fair bit of clearing and the garden bin is full so have just put it out as it will be emptied tomorrow.
Really enjoying the jigsaw as it is so interesting with snippets of information about British places.
We had scampi and chips for tea!
