I had several attempts before I got a decent shot of this little bug.
I though I had left a clump of corn in the garden, but now I am not so sure.
The giant sea kale is now in flower and smells fabulous.
I visited Bel, who isn’t quite so black and blue now, and she seemed quite well although is fed up having the dressing on her head. She had had the stitches out and will have the dressing removed on Monday.
Tina was off today so we had lunch locally then she went off to Beverley and I walked to Jeans. I actually felt really weary going there today but it was very hot and I have had more exercise than usual this week! The see was lovely with a definite hint of green. Hornsea has been awarded a clean sea status.
Another great display on the Coast Watch building.
Terry fetched me home just in time to take in my veg delivery.
Will be out watering later.
The lupine look lovely, in fact all the pics of the garden look lovely. The weeds didn’t grow like triffids while you were away then?
ReplyDeletePoor Bel, she’ll definitely be looking forward to Monday 🙂 The question is though, did she make the tea?😊
I bet it was very warm on the front. The sea does look nice. Not nice enough for me to go in it though!
You’re bound to be a bit knackered. You had a few busy days and the heat doesn’t help.
Keeping it short as you never know what Google is going to do 🤞
There are weeds but on the whole the flower beds are looking pretty good. Will try to get out there soon, but maybe not tomorrow if it is a hot as today.
ReplyDeleteThe sea looked lovely but I expect it was still pretty cold..
I hope I will feel a bit less tired in a day or two.
