The men were back early as usual and got on with window work.
They got started on the main bathroom straight away.
They finished off in my sitting room so that has made me happy again.
My mood plummeted after lunch but the less said about this parking the better!
I left the guys for half n hour and went to Number Nine, Sher’s shop. Sher wasn’t in but Haley was and she made me a cuppa.

I have been carrying on with the sorting and clearing, I had all the drawers of these chests out and relabled some of them. I am working on ‘A place for everything and everything in its placed.’ I am a very long way from that!
The men have finished upstairs now, just hd to repair the door in the spare room.
Darren was going to be late home and Tina was going out so I went down for fish and chips and timed it perfectly, arriving just after Darren got in.
I will stir myself to get out and water the garden this evening.
That’s a lovely pic of the sky to start with. Clouds are Amazon things that so many people never see! Walking along with their EarPods in and on the phone, they never seem to look up!
ReplyDeleteThe workmen really are getting stuck into the work. Getting the upstairs out the way is always good, as not having to use ladders makes a big difference. All these opening windows, it’ll be so fresh and airy in there 😂
What a total plonker parking like that! No doubt some snooty bloody woman who thinks it’s her god given right to park how she wants in other people’s driveways , but if you tried to park like that in hers she have a severe “Karen” moment! I’d have let all her tyres down and plastered a big sign on the windscreen explaining exactly what I thought of her! I’ll leave you to imagine that 😊
You’re doing so well with the sorting. You should have a houseful of men more often 😂 A place for everything and everything in its place is great if you can remember in which place you put everything! Unlike me!
Everyone keeps mentioning fish and chips today. Brian did earlier. It’s ages since I’ve had proper ones, it’s not fair!

ReplyDeleteThe men really crack on with the work and clear up after themselves, a friendly bunch and seem to get on well. Just as well at they are staying in an Air B &B all week.
The parking did get me quite hot under the collar but sort of over it now!
I have a couple of small boxes ready for the charity shop, every little helps!
