Boot sale and garden

We went to the boot sale as usual, a bit chilly this morning and not so many sellers and not a lot to tempt us.mI did get some coloured pencils that can be used with water and Darren for some junior hacksaw blades.
I had a message from Caroline at the potteries asking if I would drop my branded tee shirt and jacket in some time. I had washed them and had them ready so Darren took me up there after he had been to the gym. We had a drink and Darren looked round the new premises. He would like me to paint one of the bigger pieces for him to give to someone, so will be going there again before too long,
After lunch I did some strimming in the front garden until it rained. After lunch I went out and did more strimming and quite a lot of hoeing. As we were eating dinner it did rain fairly heavily so I won’t have to water tonight, which is good.
I have been getting things ready for my journey to London tomorrow so will finish with some more garden pics. We have two shrubs with dark, reddish leaves and they are both flowering at the moment and two lupins re just coming into flower so they should be lovely by the time I come home on Thursday.

  1. We enjoy going and having breakfast, quite a tradition now.
I thought the heavy rain would miss us again so was pleased it didn’t.
I am reasonably happy with what I have done with the garden. No more trips planned until November so can spend plenty of time out there when I am back.
I like lupins, so they will be good to come back to.
