Taking it steady, present this evening!

My knee has been iffy today so I have been taking it easy as I plan to catch the bus to Beverley tomorrow to go to a lunchtime cello concert at St Mary’s church. There will be five cellists in all and two of the pieces they will play have been written for four cellos.
I did some washing and got it on the line before Bel came to visit. We had a nice chat as usual. When she left I went to the shop for a couple of things..
This afternoon I pottered and did a bit to the jigsaw until Tin arrived home. When I got the washing in I took a couple of flower pictures in the walled garden.
Tina got me a lovely gift from a shop at Walsingham, so will finish with a couple of pictures of it.

    I really hope the knee holds out for you tomorrow. The concert should be great, and I know how much you enjoy the cello. Fingers crossed all goes well 🤞
    Sounds like quite a relaxed day. Even the jigsaw was a nice one to do 😊
    I really like the second flower pic. They stand out really well and are a great colour.
    That’s a smashing gift from the Rev. She always manages to find something unusual and nice for you. I’m sure it’ll take pride of place somewhere.

    Yes, fingers crossed for tomorrow. The mauve flowers are Michaelmas daisies, I have always liked them as I went to St Michael’s primary school and we wore them on his saints day.
    The bird picture is great.
