Lazy day with visitors

The knee is still refusing to improve so not too much activity today. I started a jigsaw last night and have done a bit more of it today. A very nice picture of a place I visited many years ago.
Having been away for a while today wA a real catch up day, seeing Bel and Jean for the first time in a month. Bel came round on her motorised scooter and was looking well. She has sold her car while I was away as her insurance had leapt up and she rarely used it in recent months. She has been going further afield on her scooter so pretty adventurous for a ninety one year old. Jean came here this afternoon for a change, she had been decorating the church up for the harvest service. They both loved the giant French knitting stool!
When I was staying with Rose I needed to clean a greasy area on the floor and she suggested I tried ‘Muc Off’ which is for cleaning bikes! It worked a treat so Tina ordered some as we have tried just about everything to remove the grease from our kitchen cupboards to no avail! We had tried it on a couple of cupboards and I can de leave that it is the best yet!
Will finish with a picture sent by Anya of a hawk moth caterpillar found by Aurora, their dog. Anya rescued it and returned it to a tree.

  1. The lack of activity is going to drive you up the wall. I’m not sure which will be worse, the knee or the boredom! Nice you had a couple of visitors today though.
Rose has mentioned that cleaner to me a couple of times too, although I’ve never tried it. Sounds like it’s good though. I’ll bear it in mind for a future occasion.
I hope tomorrow is a bit better one for you.

  2. I will endeavour not to get bored, but added to that is the frustration of not being able to do much in the garden. Rally must settle down to all that craft work that awaits attention!
