I have spent a good bit of the day on the jigsaw and have finished it. A fun one to do.

Ever the optimist
Last night and today the pain has been pretty bad so activity has been curtailed. I have actually felt poorly with it today which is unusual. I wrote some letters last night so the first very short wok was to the nearest post box. I had a couple of other short walks as I had a prescription to collect and then an even shorter one to the sh next door but now. Usually quite an expensive shop but they have collections of old tools and general odds and ends outside. I passed a carpet sweeper the other day and was sure it was marked for a pound. Tina went by the shop on her way to a service this morning and phoned me to say it was indeed a pound! The top was rusty but not too bad, when I got it home and looked underneath the flaps were almost rusted to the body and it had been in a garage I think so was full of cobwebs etc as well as not having been emptied! I did get the flaps open and it does appear to work!

Such a shame that the pain has kicked back in again with a vengeance. I thought after your trip to the front the other day that things might be looking up ☹️ Hopefully you’ll find things to occupy yourself until things ease up a bit. Otherwise you’ll be crawling the walls with boredom! Although if you keep buying and renovating old household items, that’ll keep you occupied 😊 Some of those carpet sweepers are far better than a lot of the hoovers about today. They use less electricity too 😊
