This and that

Yesterday evening I did I a bit on the mega French knitting stool, using two wools. The first one was very loopy, I couldn’t fathom how to start it off properly. So took that off and tried again. The end looks better, and I hung the original length on the stool. It is quite fun to use.
I had a pretty bad night and the leg was still iffy this morning so I phoned the doctors and arranged for a telephone consultation this afternoon. I had a prescription to collect so did walk down to the chemist. I pottered around and worked on a crossword until lunch time. After lunch I walked up to Botany Boutique, Sher is on holiday but Hayley was there and I collected the plant they had been looking after for me. I did sit out on the swing for a while and took the camera out. These photos were taken on high zoom as I was quite a way away, and I had held the cameras, so not too bad.
Back to the phone for some garden pics.
When I bought the plant that Sher was minding I had meant to draw it. But went off to Peterborough soon after I acquired it. So did a sketch this afternoon.
The doctor has prescribed a course of tablets which helped a few weeks ago, so fingers crossed it settles things down a bit. Hopefully can pick them up tomorrow.

  1. Sorry to hear you’re still suffering with the leg. Hopefully the pills will do the trick and get you back on your feet, pardon the pun.
You seem to have kept yourself occupied. The giant knitting is really funky. You should use some as leg warmers. I’m sure they’d fit, and would be cosy 😊
Some nice pics tonight. A bit of sun really makes a difference to all photographs. The flowers look gorgeous. It’s been a while since you’ve had the “proper” camera out too. If you’re anything like me you’ll have forgotten how to use it!
Like your plant drawing. It needs a few ink lines on there though 😊

  2. I have had a reasonable day despite the annoying knee, will endeavour to keep occupied even if I can’t get out and about much.
