It was great to go to the boot sale with Darren after so many weeks. I thought I may not be able to look as many stalls but looked forward to our usual sandwich and a bit of a wander, I actually managed to cover about two thirds of the stalls and may have made it all round but as the knee was twinging a bit decided it was time to get a cuppa and let Darren look for more bargains on his own. He came back with an electronic drawing pad, which I had a play with while he went off to buy some pavers that he had shown me a picture of. Pad and pavers one pound each!I got a very pretty box, and a couple of jigsaws. Also a beautifulSpode plate, that is just a pound too and a fab hanging made out of a drinks can!
I did do a bit of strimming in the garden and collected some twigs off the lawn and out of the beds.
After dinner I went out and watered the walled garden and the tubs in the front garden. So, a little more active. I have had the knee brace on all day and it has been sore, but I think a little less sore, fingers crossed.
I’m really pleased to made it around most of the boot sale. Quite a few bargains had by both of you today. The drawing pad is quite funky, and not bad for a pound! Love the small Spode plate. A real bargain for a pound too. The hanger made from a tin is very unusual, but nice.
ReplyDeleteYou’ve definitely been a bit more active today, but hopefully not to active that you suffer for it tonight! Maybe you’re on the uphill path at the moment 🤞
Certainly feels better to have been a little more active. Fingers crossed I don’t pay for it!
ReplyDeleteYes, some good bargains and so nice to be back T the boot sale.
