I was waiting in as the garden swing Tina had ordered was being delivered and assembled today. A nice cup arrived mid morning and got cracking.
After lunch I decided to attempt walking to the sea as I haven’t seen it since coming home. I almost turned back S I passed Boyes as the knee was really sore. But I decided to plod on. I got there okay without too much trouble, I had an ice cream and the a cuppa before heading back rather more painfully. I took the third photo as the se was a lovely colour today. Very busy at the front as well.
I sat for. While with a cold compress on my knee when I got home. This evening I was rested enough to water both of the gardens. Not feeling too bad at the moment but time will tell.
I’m surprised the birds let you get that close to them to take pics. Although I suppose they were distracted while stuffing their faces 😊
ReplyDeleteI really like the new swing. Hopefully you’ll get some use out of it while the weather is nice.
I’m pleased you finally made it to the sea. I can imagine it was hard going for you, but slow and easy is good. Specially with ice cream and a cuppa when you got there 😊 It’s the getting back that’s not so easy! It looks as though it was worth it though. The sea does look a nice colour. Good to see a few people about too. A bit of trade for the shops is always a good thing.
I hope the walk and the watering haven’t set you up for a painful day tomorrow.
I am hopeful that I won’t have too many after effects. Will let you know tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteIt was very busy at the sea, people making the most of it before the children are back at school.
We tried the swing out earlier.
