Keep on hoping, meanwhile keep busy!

Not a great deal to report today. I did sort through my clothes and got a couple of bags ready to take over to the charity shop. Put them on the rollator and the shop is really very close by but any thought that the knee was maybe improving was soon quashed as I struggled to get there and back!
Tina got me a jigsaw at a charity sale a week or so ago, of roses. So looks quite tricky to do. Anyway, got started to find that several edge pieces are missing, which means some more might be missing too. I was ready to bin it when Tina suggested I did some of the flowers and maybe use them on cards. Not sure how well that will work and it took me ages to try and work out the three orange coloured ones! It may hit the bin yet!
When I fed the birds a hopeful squirrel was waiting patiently for some peanuts. I obliged!
Thought you would like to admire the weeds, this is one of the better areas!
I took a couple of photos of the everlasting flowers which survived.
Will finish with a couple of Tina photos as she was on a take cat pics mission!

  1. That is a shame that even a short distance like that is giving you such a problem ☹️ Maybe you should get Tina to have a word with her boss! Anything is worth a try.
Hmmm, I’m not so sure about the roses and cards idea. I know you’ll give it a fair try, but I foresee the bin making an appearance 😊
You do spoil the animals in your garden, but it’s hard to say no to squirrels 🐿️
I really like both those flower pics, the yellow one in particular. They just have a nice look about them. Not so sure about Tina’s pic of the evil cat with glowing eyes 👀 😂

  2. I still like the squirrels even though they have wreaked havoc with my bird food storage and run riot in the greenhouse, but they look so imploringly when I am sorting out the bird food. I think they are digging holes in the lawn now as well, probably burying the peanuts!
