I have had a good journey down today, even thought the train had to make an emergency stop as someone had pulled a chord. I was standing outside a carriage and water came gushing in as it brakes which was a little alarming! A railway worker put my case on the rack then and I had a seat for the rest of the journey. Mike met me at the station, we went for a cup of tea and then we went to visit Ruby and Emmie the two elderly ladies I have known for years. Ruby is looking very frail and beginning to look more like her 96 years, but Emmie at 95 seems not to change at all. Mike came across to see Michelle and Julie and have a cup of tea with them then headed home. It has been great catching up with the twins and we have just had a lovely meal and have been putting the world to rights. Staying here with them for three nights, should be a relaxing visit.
