This morning Sandy picked me up about 9.45 am so that she could let me in to the studio before she went off to take her bother to his appointments. It was incredibly busy, I had people at every table, people phoning to see if there was room and to book and a delivery. Managed to use the till without any problems. I was 'in charge' for about an hour and a half. Darren picked me up from the studio for us to go and get stuff for him to use in the shed from B & Q. We had a quick trip into Deans, had a cup of tea and a snack and then I bought a coffee plant in a coffee mug!
It will be interesting to see how big it gets, will have to look up what care it needs! After getting the shed stuff I got Darren to drop me back at the studio, as it is very difficult to keep on top of the clearing and cleaning when it is that busy. Sandy still had a full studio so I set to with the washing up and the table clearing as it was needed. When it got quieter I did paint a little gecko to go in the bathroom with my others.
It was getting on for 4 pm when I left but I cut through to look at the bay even though it was miserable and raining!
Last night I spotted some coaster blanks that Tina had given me a while ago, and I thought the little ladybird cross stitch I did would fit. It did and it looks pretty nice.
Will probably watch Midsomer Murders tonight.
That's been a really busy day for you, but I bet Sandy was really pleased to have your help. Glad you found time to did the gecko as well. Don't think I've ever seen a coffee plant. I'll be interested how it grows. My chilli plant is still growing, but still very small.
ReplyDeleteThe coaster was a good idea for the ladybirds, it looks really good.
I had never seen a coffee plant either, caught out eyes as they were sold in the coffee mugs.
DeleteExcellent the studio is busy but not on your own. You did well. Don't go over doing it tho. Love the ladybirds coaster. Hope the coffee plant is successful. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteNot helping out again for a while and will think twice when it is a school holiday! x
