This morning Tina dropped me off in town by 9 am, I had written a lot of letters yesterday and got a package ready to send so went to the post office first. It was bright and cold this morning so walked through to the valley bridge, the south bay was looking lovely as usual.
I took the cliff path down near to the old cliff lift.
Another shot of the bay, taken on the way down.
A bit along the bay is the attractive garden walk down to the beach from the cliff top.
The bay as I made my way along. it had been trying to snow then, real April weather today but colder!
The lighthouse was surrounded by the changing sky!
Went by the harbour.
I made my way back up along a road I hadn't been up before and won't be going up again any time soon! This is what I had walked up.
A bit of a breather because this came next!
There was still a bit of a climb after that to reach the church!
View across the churchyard.
Walked back along the cliff top of the north bay.
The guys are putting up the new shed today in pretty awful weather. Will put a couple of pics tomorrow.

  1. Think you've had plenty of exercise for one day. Those hills look killers!
I remember walking up all those steps in that garden a couple of times when I've been for longish walks while up there. You know you've done it by the time you get to the top!

  3. You're not going to take me on a guided walking tour up there then? :-)

  4. Probably not, or you will be marching up and down it twice while I stagger up the once!!

  5. You did well up those hills. But that is why Scarborough has so many lovely spots.
Interesting shots. Well done you must be feeling fitter. Xx
