This morning I caught the bus into Perth, it is a pretty journey but today I just couldn’t stay awake! Not a good start. I had some errands to do and was mostly successful, I am beginning to find my way around in the city, idid a fair bit of walking around but for some reason felt unreasonably weary today. Had to take a picture of the busker, very Scottish!
At the bus stop before I came home a ma that hadn’t been near me at the bus shelter, stood up with his empty sandwich packet and picked up his khaki back pack, moved it to next to my leg and wandered off! Logic told me he was just going to the rubbish bin but in today’s climate I was thinking bombs! He cam back and then sat right next to me, he had obviously had a beer with his sandwich! I tried very hard to stay awake on the way back as I didn’t want to miss my stop, spent a while trying to get a photo of the scenery, one turned out reasonably. When I got home a did a couple of chores the sat down complete with cat and dozed off doing a crossword.Tina got a nice dinner ready and I m not doing a lot more this evening, hoping I am not coming down with something.
Will finish with a couple of photos sent by a friend of peacocks in their garden this morning, not an everyday event!

If you’re already feeling a bit tired a long bus trip does tend to make you even drowsier. I struggle on my very short journeys at times. I’m sure on a really long one I’d be gone 😴
ReplyDeleteI love to hear the bagpipes when our local busker plays in the town centre. I’m sure a lot of people don’t appreciate them though. Although up there I guess they’re more welcome.
The bloke at the bus stop definitely sounds a bit odd. Did you have your light up neon sign saying “nutters please talk to me” attached to your forehead 😂😂 You’re like a magnet to them!
I quite like your funky scenery shot through the window.
Maybe you are about to come down with something, that’s why you’ve been so worn out lately. Or it could be all those hills you’ve been climbing. Either way try to take it easy for a day or so.
Peacocks are lovely. I’d happily have them in the garden.
I like hearing the bagpipes too and even more so in Scotland.
ReplyDeleteI used to doze off on the long buses into Hull as well, I suppose it is better than feeling sick as I used to as a child!
The other photos I took from the bus were very blurred, the drivers do rattle along those country roads!
Peacocks appearing on the garden, how lovely is that?
