Blair castle part two

After lunch we had a wander along the forest path, some very large trees!



There was an amazing wall behind the stream.





Then we made our way to the grass area where we sat to watch the parade of the only private army left in Europe.






That canon was very loud!



It was quite a spectacle, and hundreds of people there. There are extensive grounds so I am sure we will be going there again.

    I think I’ve heard of Blair castle. That looks a nice forest walk. Definitely some towering trees there.
    They do look like proper soldiers. Great to see them dressed like that. Our lot are a load of teenage wimps compared to them. I imagine it was a great atmosphere, I envy you. I’ve been stuck in the flat since 8.30 this morning. Judging by all the photo opportunities there I’m pretty sure you will go again 😊 Just realised this is part two. I should have checked the other first. Doh!
