A quiet day for me, the ankle is still uncomfortable so not too much walking today. Tina and I worked on the jigsaw a bit, but left some for when Darren arrived this afternoon. I did a few chores and hve finished reading the book today. A very inspirational book about Mary’s Meals.
I had a quiz sheet that was almost finished and Tina and I got our heads together and it is completed now and ready to send off.
I check the bonsai trees every day and am keeping notes of my observations now. I am not completely convinced but I think the special oak may be okay.🤞
Darren arrived this afternoon and he and Tina sat together putting pieces in. They left eight pieces for me to finish it off!
We are off to a parade tomorrow, well hopefully I will go, I will see how the ankle feels in the morning.
I’m sure all this stopping in is driving you stir crazy, but hopefully it’s for the good and it’ll soon be better. Gentle walking and loose shoes and you’ll be fine for the parade tomorrow with any luck.

I do hope the oak survives. I think it was just the shock of what it went through. I’m sure I’d wilt if it were me 😊
That was a nice thought from Darren to get you and Tina gifts. He’s a big softy 😊 I love the little spider. He knows your tastes very well.
You usually do well in raffles, but even the small prizes in the lottery are better than nothing, and you get the mini jigsaw to keep you occupied for about 30 seconds 😂
I hope the ankle gets the rest it needs tonight in readiness for a trip out tomorrow 🤞🤞

ReplyDeleteI was well into my book, so not doing much hasn’t been too bad. I have a few other books to read if I need more quiet time.
The little spider is quite unusual and really cute.
I would like to join them on the outing tomorrow so another reason to rest the ankle!
