I have felt weary and achy today, I thinkI did too much yesterday but glad I made the effort to get my Covid jab, although the arm is one of the achy bits! Apart from going to the post box and hoeing the beds in the garden I have stayed indoors. Tina and I did a bit of jigsaw sorting, we won’t finish it before Darren arrives as he knows we have been working on it and likes to put some pieces in himself.
We have some of the mini canvasses to do some artwork on and they will be sold for charity for £10 each when they are displayed in the cathedral They are being sold to make money for a children’s cancer charity that have been supporting a local family. Tina had some little tiles she had made some time ago when she was using air dry clay and used some to decorate one time. I pen drew one but did add colour later and then an other one, so we have done a bit to support the event.I have read quite a bit of my book and won’t be late to bed tonight as I think I am developing a bit of a cold, I am falling apart……..

I’m not at all surprised you’re achey, and know you did too much yesterday! But at least you shouldn’t catch Covid now 🙂 It’s good you didn’t venture out today, it’ll give your various achey and hurty bits a chance to recuperate 😊
ReplyDeleteBlimey, the jigsaw is coming on well. When is Darren coming this week, tomorrow? He might have one piece to fit in if he’s lucky.
I think all your canvases are great. I really do like that one of yours on the right. They should all sell very well.
I think an earlyish night will be good for you, as long as you can actually sleep. I don’t know about up there but it’s a warm old night here which doesn’t help.
You’re not falling apart…….just disassembling slightly 😂😂
It was a quieter day but I needed it. May be the same again tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteYes, hopefully the canvases will sell and they get lots of entries to make a good sum for the charity.
I have ordered another jigsaw as we re all getting some enjoyment out of them now,
