Visiting day

I haven’t done a great deal today apart from visits to Bel and Jean. Bel is doing a very difficult round jigsaw and didn’t seem much further along with it than she was last week, but she enjoys it and is happy if she gets a couple of pieces in at a sitting! I saw the Ringtons man on her street while I was there, so guessed I was gong to miss him again. We haven actually see him in out six weeks now and the biscuit supply has gone! He had left I card to say he would call back later, but I would be at Jeans then, so I left him a message and he arrived before I went out again as he was still in theatre. Just as well saw him as he is going on holiday so he won’t call again for a month.

I had to return a package for Darren and Tina so I walked to Jeans via the post office and the sea. Sea and gull shots today!

Jean seemed reasonably chipper but tired, they are planning to downsize so sorting their large house nd going around looking at possible properties. She always wnts gossip bout church things nd I never have any!
There is a pink gladioli near the while ones, it is a bit in the shade in the pic.
When I was home I watered the front garden and the bonsai trees but will wait until later to water the back garden as the sun was still on it. Took this photo while I was out there.

I like that photo a will finish on a high!

  1. You may not think you've done much today, but you've done the most important job, restocking the biscuit tin! 🙂
Looks quite nice by the sea today. Looks like there was a bit of sun. You probably had a tad more than we did. The front isn't quite as busy as it was the other day.

Did you have a go at Bel's puzzle, or is it a strictly one person job? She obviously doesn't get through them at the speed you do. I'm sure she'd put me to shame though. Are Jean and Terry planning to stay local?

Definitely a good pic to finish on. I like it because you caught another ladybird at the bottom too 🙂

  2. It was windy at the front, you notice it more there. I do sit with Bel occasionally and do a bit to the jigsaw she has on the go.
Three of Jean and Terrys children live in the area, so yes, they hope to get a bungalow locally as they have a bit house at the moment and are both in their eighties.
I did notice I had caught anothe ladybird in the photo.
A full biscuit tin is good and the Ringtons ones are tasty!
