I ordered some bulb hydroponic jars that arrived yesterday and this morning I assembled the stand, not too difficult. Then I did put a couple of cuttings in.
I did some washing to keep things up to date and spotted Pandora sunbathing in the walled garden, taken thought the window.
I finished off the top of the jigsaw but left the last few pieces for Darren as he had helped me for a while for the last couple of evenings.
Pandora settled next to me when I was having a cuppa, a more content cat is hard to imagine!
The rest of the day I have done various things but haven’t been out. I packed way everything it do with Christmas cakes and some general tidying up, then started sewing the trousers that I cut out a while ago. Had tea with Darren and will go out and do some watering when I have done the blog. The app I was using is no longer working, I did get an Email from the guy whose op it was to say it is no longer functional, so getting used to doing the entries directly onto Blogger, so bear with me!
I like the hydroponic jars. They look really good. You do quite well with cuttings, so it'll get good use.
ReplyDeletePandora is definitely a laid back and content cat. She looks so meek and mild laying there that you wouldn't think she would drag dead things into the house for you to look at!
I've always liked your walled garden. I know it's quite a task at times to keep it looking nice, but just a nice secluded area you can sit in peace. I know your garden isn't really overlooked, but perhaps I'm a closet hermit! 😊
Another hard puzzle waiting in the wings once Darren does the final bit to that one. You've had some really good ones.
Bet it felt good packing all the Christmas cake stuff away until next year, assuming you're going to do them again next year? 😊 Feeding starts tomorrow from what you said, so lots of unwrapping and rewrapping to do. Sounds like you had more of a normal day today. You never waste a day though, there's always plenty of jobs you find 😊
It has been a pleasant day and I am just in from watering so feet up time now. Pandora may decide she wants a lap, in fact she has just landed on me. I have enjoyed trying to get the cuttings to grow. My sitting room is more like a plant shop than a lounge!
ReplyDeleteTime to think about the cakes, time will tell!
Darren finished off the puzzle before he went out, so will pack it away tomorrow.
