Cakes all cooked

Yesterday I couldn’t upload my entry so trying the old method if I can remember how! I had the ingredients weighed out in numerous bowls for three different cakes and had lined the Tim’s, which I kept in the oven overnight in case there were flies about. The picture gives a bit of an idea of the task as I did this five times!

I am really struggling with this so will keep it short. The fifteen cakes are made which is a good job done and I will start the feeding on Monday. I popped put to see Sher as I want to buy a small gift from her shop and then I decided to catch the bus up to Freeport, now called Hornsea Village and had lunch at the pottery and then walked home. Haven’t been down Polly’s Path for a while.
The walk home was okay, I called in at Botany Boutique again and bought a tea tube propagating stand for two of my cuttings that have rooted and are getting leaves.
Today has been visit day instead of Friday. Bel and Jean were both fine today and we had our usual drinks and chats. The children’s fun fare is back for a month as usual and there were quite a lot of people about.

That’s it for now, his is stressing me out!

  1. I know the hassle you had yesterday with the blog, but as usual you persevered and found another way of doing it. Everything is perfectly readable and although the pictures show as small, clicking on them brings up a full size version you can zoom in on. So you don’t miss anything.
I still think cooking fifteen cakes is mad 😂 It doesn’t end with cooking though does it. There’s still a fair bit of time and work to go into them yet.
It was nice that you actually managed to get out the house yesterday afternoon. You’ve been trapped with those cakes for way too long! Polly’s path looks very clear. It usually seems more overgrown than that. But as you say it’s been a while since you were there and uploaded a pic.
I like the tea tube. I know it’s simple but it looks nice. Why is it called a tea tube?
Visits done today, so does that mean you have a free day tomorrow to do what you want, or do you have lots of chores lined up?
Try not to stress…..it’s bad for you 🙂

  2. Obviously a typo, it is a test tube and holder!
It was nice to have a bit of a walk yesterday and stretch the legs.
Stretched them again today but got a lift home as Terry is driving again until he gets the other cataract removed.
I will feel more comfortable using the blogger to write my entries now I can remember how to do it on there!
