As I was in Hornsea I popped along to Sher’s little garden market at number nine. Not a lot of stalls but nice to have a chat with Sher and Hayley.
I did a couple of loads of washing and made a cake this morning.
After lunch I did some strimming and pruning in the front garden, then after a break decided to get the foxgloves that I pulled up a few days ago out f the try of water and no to a planter!
I moved the otter garden ornament onto the patio for now until I decide on a permanent home!
I managed to get the watering done before Darren got home at 6.30 pm and then got our tea. So quite nice pottering day!
We are intending to go to the boot sale in the morning but will have breakfast before we go as out usual eating place is closed for the next two weeks.
Cats do pick up on everything that’s going on, and you’ve had a lot of things going on later. The windows have been a big upheaval, and with Tina getting ready for her trip the past few weeks Pandora is bound to feel unsettled. So I don’t blame you at all for staying home with her today. Sounds like it turned out to be a good decision as you’ve managed to have a good day, and you were available for urgent postal duties 😊 I always make lists if I’m going away because I know what a numpty I am for forgetting stuff 😊
ReplyDeleteAll those little jobs you’ve got done today are less for another day, and you’ve pottered at your own pace. A nice day altogether.
I know someone who’s really going to appreciate that cake. Spoiling him already! While the cats away 😂
A nice leisurely stroll around the boot sale tomorrow will be a pleasant start to another day. You need to keep it up. Leisurely, pottering days are good for you.
It has been a relaxed day but did get a few things done, so all to the good.
ReplyDeletePandora followed me about a bit but did settle on her latest favourIt’s spot and slept for a while this afternoon.
The cake has been well received, I haven’t made one for a while.
Hopefully the package will get to Tina on Monday, but knowing the post as it is at the probably take a bit longer.
