Have bus pass, will use it!

I went off to Hull on the bus at ten this morning, only really went into St Stephens shopping area but got what I went for in Boots and the Body Shop. Had a cuppa and then caught a bus to Beverley from Hull. Had never been on that route and luckily it stopped at Flemingate, which is where I wanted to be. Took a couple of pictures on the station before I caught the second bus, there is a display inside I think but I have never seen it open.


I had a good browse in Art and Soul and bought a few bits. Looked in Baytree Interiors as well, but although they had a sale I wasn’t tempted. Then I made my way into the centre taking a couple of pics of the Minster on the way after I had crossed the railway line.


Someone had made this quickly to show support for Ukraine.
I now know where the temporary bus stop is as the bus station is still closed for resurfacing.
May do a bit to the jigsaw this evening before the third part of a very good drama.

    You certainly are making use of the bus pass. I’ve not used mine for weeks now. I’m not the adventurous type like you are anyway 😊 It was a lovely day today, which shows in the skies in your pics. I think it’s supposed to be nice again tomorrow, so you and the Rev will have to go for lunch somewhere.
    The Minster is always a good subject for a pic, specially with that sky as a background. All in all a successful trip out. Got bits you needed and avoided stuff you don’t.
    I love the pillar box topper. That’s great. 🇺🇦
    If I can stay awake I’m really looking forward to the drama too.
