5p mountain!

This morning I did chores and went to countdown to get some super glue for Darren. Got some washing dried out in the garden which was good.
Yesterday evening I made some sample cards as ideas for the families at three group tomorrow afternoon.
This afternoon I thought of going out on the bus but in the end decided to get a bit done in the garden. I hunted for the edging tool and when I located it found that it was broken. Tina suggested that Boyes may sell them, I was doubtful but went along and was surprised what a good range of garden tools they had. It is not the same quality as my previous one but at a price of £5.99 I am not complaining.

I didn’t get as far as I had hoped but made a good start

I have filled my 5p jar at last so will be counting and bagging this evening. Who would have guessed that that bottle would have held this many?
I finished reading ‘Holding’ today, will be interesting to see how it differs on the tv version this eveningl

  1. Another varied day for you. You certainly don’t sit on your bum doing nothing like I do! 😊 I think the cards look really nice. I’m sure they’ll enjoy making them.
The new edger isn’t bad for the money. Does make you wonder how they can make something like that and ship it halfway around the world. Although deep down we all do know how! It certainly works as those beds look a lot better now.
That is a lot of 5p’s. Bet your fingers are black after counting so many. It’s surprising how much dirt they have on them.
I’m looking forward to Holding tonight. I think it’s a good drama and well cast. Better go make a drink before it starts!
