Which bird table?

We have an awful lot of deliveries with all the church stuff and my bird food, and therefore endless boxes to recycle, some very large. When the bins are empty I get boxes in, but folded up they are difficult to fit in and it makes it difficult to get all the other stuff in. So this morning ai really tested the wrists by literally breaking down three large boxes. They then only about half filled one of the bins.
Ringtons came and he had the most adorable tins, for Easter really but who couldn’t smile with them on a shelf. The wings are the clips. Darren can enjoy the sweets and I think the tins can hold my good sewing threads.
Tina needed to get some work done today as she is away for the weekend but we went up to the garden centre for a breakfast sandwich and for me to check out the bird tables. They had quite a variety but not had removable trays for cleaning so have pretty much decided on on from the RSPB which has adjustable height and a removable tray. That is adjustable height on the feeding area so that you can discourage larger birds. They also have a ground feeder that comes with a cage to keep the larger birds and adult squirrels out. There is a Pavers outlet at the garden centre and Tina needed some comfy shoes. I want some new Sketchers but they don’t usually have much choice in wide fitting pairs. That was different today, got some Sketchers trainers and also Pavers now make wide fitting and got a pair of nice summer shoes.

This afternoon I spent a good while in the garden, but maintenance stuff so didn’t take boring photos.
The final part of a very good drama tonight which will round the day off nicely. That’s if is has a nice ending!!

  1. I hate tearing up boxes as it always makes my wrists ache, so I imagine yours did a bit. Amazon Prime deliveries are the worst as they always put small items in huge boxes! Such a waste.
The tins are lovely 😊 Bet that Ringtons man looks forward to visiting you. Boosts his commission no end!
Glad you both got out for a while, even if it was a short trip. The bird tables and ground feeder sound a very good idea and should cut down on the amount of bird food you buy. The gulls and pigeons always find plenty to eat, even if it is visitors hotdogs on the front 😊 It’s definitely the smaller birds that need the help. At least they won’t have to fight for their share once you got the feeders sorted.
I’m really looking forward to the final part of the drama. Can’t wait to see what the outcome is!
