Monster cat in the trees!

Will go out of order and put the photos that clarify today’s heading!
K

We went to the boot sale early as usual, Tina is off today, a rare Sunday off, so she had a well deserved lie in and declined the invitation to join us!
Had to sneak Ruby out in my pocket as Darren had said we weren’t taking her! He got over it though and she got to have a couple of pictures taken!

I was flagging a bit so went to have a sit down with a drink while Darren scanned the last few rows. A tiny insect, not much bigger than an ant settled on my plastic bag and I managed to get a remarkably clear photo of it.
I got a nice bum bag and some lovely cards for 50p each, there were ten cards in the pack for 50p and they are all different, based on Turkish art of illuminated painting.
And a lovely glass plaque which I think was £1.
Sat in the walled garden with Tina for a bit when we got home, that is when I took the pictures of Pandora by the bonsai trees. Talking of the trees, these are looking delightfully autumnal.
Before the Grand Prix started I had a walk round the garden, took a photo of the green gladioli that has opened and a different garden spider!
After the race, which Bottas won as I had hoped he would, I set to and started assembling the cold frame Tina had sent for. A couple of glitches and my wrists may never be the same again, but was pretty pleased with myself about an hour and a half later when it was completed and it opened as it should!
Took a silhouette picture of the church on my final venture outside.

Not feeling 100% so having a lazy evening, free from cat company as she is still outside!
Maybe some gardening tomorrow if I feel up to it.

  1. I like the pics of the monster cat 😊
Darren will stop taking you out if you keep embarrassing him. Bet he tells everyone it’s your weekly trip out from the asylum πŸ˜‚ I can’t believe vicars get a Sunday off, that doesn’t seem right somehow!
You got a good collection of bargains again. The cards are lovely and perfect for you as you do write a lot of letters.
Love the pic of the autumnal bonsai leaves. They look really great.
The cold frame looks good and it works which is always a bonus! Should come in useful for you. Meant to ask earlier in this reply, did you buy any bulbs today? 😊

    1. No bulbs today, no plants either, must be slipping!
Tina having a Sunday off is almost as rare as hens teeth!
I want to try rooting some cuttings over winter so the cold frame will be perfect for that.
