Shiver me timbers, where is the fire engine!

I took another photo of the pirate dog won at the fair as you couldn’t see his wooden leg in the previous one! That really is a rather silly but cute soft toy.

I haven’t felt too bright today, but have improved a bit during the day which is good as we have the art glass class tomorrow.
I wandered round the front garden this morning to see the difference Lesley and I had made yesterday, we certainly had a lot of stuff for the bin and compost pile. We left the sea holly as it looks interesting even when it is dying off.
I caught the bus up to Freeport, had been going to walk but my legs weren’t keen on that today. I had a drink as the bottoms coffee shop, then walked to the to top end, and walked to the end of the car park to get a bit of a walk in before getting some lunch. Looks quite open from there.
I think I took a photo of this hydrangea when it was mainly pink, I love the way hydrangeas change colour.
When I was waiting for the bus home I took a photos of the new shoes, which had their first outing today. Think I may get another pair while they have them in stock, I rarely get shoes that are truly comfortable straight away.
Tina has been laying with fire again!!

A bit of foliage to finish, then bonsai trees are still looking good and I love this group of foliage bushes in the front garden.

  1. Aww, he’s very cute 😊
The sea holly has provided lots of different displays and several different photo opportunities. Very good value for money!
I hope you’re feeling a bit better tomorrow when you get up. The class sounds like it’ll be a good one. The hands gave you a reprieve last time, so fingers crossed for the same tomorrow.
At least you got out for a while today. Lunch out always tastes better than getting it ready yourself too.
I know how you struggle to find good fitting comfy shoes, so it probably is a very good idea to grab another pair while they have them. They look nice.
Tina does like playing with fire. I’m not sure she’s actually working for the right bloke. Maybe it’s the other one she should be working for 😀😈
Really like the last two pics. Flowers are nice, but people should pay more attention to foliage, it’s lovely on its own.

  2. Very tired this evening but feeling better. I enjoyed a little amble around Freeport, the bus is convenient if you don’t feel energetic!
I like foliage plants, most of my indoor plants don’t flower.
