I love that last one!
Soon after I got home the bun moss arrived so I was set to have a go at the terrariums. Photos of them as I set them up and then with the dishes on top. I am trying the dishes one each way and now I will monitor them for a while to see how much water spraying they need and what position they like to be in. I would really like to do more and will search for the sort of plants I had visualised.
I was thinking about doing some gardening when Tina said I was welcome to go with them to Beverley and have some lunch and make my own way home as they were going to the cinema. We went to Flemingate and had a lovely lunch. Tina was happy to pose by the big spider in the restaurant,
We went into Baytree interiors, they had a great range of jars in there if I decide to set up more terrariums. Then we went into Art and Soul, I stayed in for a while after Darren and Tina headed off to the cinema. I bought this lovely print and was interested to see it had been created using polychromo pencils. I looked them up and they are like the super pencils I have but are oil based and mine are wax based.
I made my way to the cathedral as I know my way to the bus station from there.
I have been wanting to get a ring for a while but my fingers just seem to get bigger and bigger, well, the joints anyway. Saw this in the antique centre and it fits my little finger, it is silver and very pretty.
Had a while to wait for a bus so went to the lovely memorial garden by St Mary’s for a sit down.
Haven’t done a great deal since I got home, the injection spot is a bit sore. Will finish off with tow pictures sent by Tina, one when they were leaving Beverley and the other when they were waiting for chips by the lively sea,
It’s great you finally got the injection, although I can imagine you had second thoughts when he was poking the needle into it! Nice to know you’ll be jogging along the seafront in a few days time. There’ll be no holding you back 😊 Seriously though, I’m sure it’ll help.
ReplyDeleteSome lovely seafront pics today. Like you I love the last one. Some great shadows in it.
The terrariums look good. It’ll be interesting to hear about there progress over the next few weeks. The glass dishes you got for lids are perfect and look good either way but. Again it’ll be interesting to see which way works best.
A surprise trip out is always nice, and to get out all together for a family lunch is even better. Hope they enjoyed their film.
The wren print is lovely. Such a lot of detail in it.
The ring is very you, so definitely a very good buy. It’s good to treat yourself specially if you’ve been considering it for a while. Now if you can find a similar style one but with a spider the other hand would be sorted too.
Quite a varied day for you with injections and shopping. Now if you get a good nights sleep it’d by the ideal end to a good day 🤞🏻
All in all a really nice day, and a good bit of walking too. The detail in the wren drawing is great, the write up about the pencils said they are harder and good for fine detail. Not planning to get any though
DeleteReally like the ring, will endeavour to wear it and not leave it in the drawer.
