Kill or Cure?

I fed the birds before getting ready to walk down to the leisure centre again. Took photos from the greenhouse, the sky changed as I was filling feeders and scattering food on the lawn.

Another in the front garden and then on the way.

As the sky was still lovely when I got to the leisure centre I walked to the sea before going in.

Just took one more photo when I came out after my twelve lengths and a float in the learner pool, and tea cake and tea in the cafe!
The pampas grass near the front is in full bloom now.

Walking home I felt really shattered, really feeling unfit and old! But after a bit f a relax indoors I decided to catch the bus into Hull as I wanted to get puzzle books and toiletries to take to the abbey next week. As there will be no internet or tv I need to take plenty to keep my occupied!
I went to the post office to post some letters, one was so bit for Tina and she had written ‘do not bend’ on it, the only box with a big enough mouth was actually inside the post office. I stocked up on stamps as well. Did my bits of shopping and had a general wander. I like this monument to those who lost their lives in the war, no sustained soldiers but victims of the heavy bombing in Hull as well. I wasn’t sure if I could take a photo of the inside through the slits and was pleasantly surprised.

I usually like the back seat on the lower floor of the bus as it is a bit higher and you get the breeze if the windows are open. But today the heating was n and I was hot anyway from walking around town and ended up roasting! When I person in front got off I move seats to one that hasn’t got a heater the back of it!
I meant to add a picture of the mahonia bush yesterday as it is really fabulous this year and looks even better with less weed round it!
Feeling weary but hoping I stay awake for the third part of the drama tonight.

  1. Getting outside early in the morning does have its advantages. The sky pics are great. Must try it sometime myself 😊 love the ones over the sea. You’re so lucky to get the opportunity to see those vista whenever you want.
12 lengths is good. Are you contemplating going for a dip with the loonies in the sea this Christmas?
A trip to Hull is always good. I know you like going there. You’ll get all these things to occupy yourself and when you get there you’ll probably find they have party nights three times a week. All round the piano, bit of a knees up!
The photo through the slits came out ok. Very different. Looks like people have been shoving their rubbish through the slits ☹️
A good day. Hope you do manage to stay awake for the drama. It’s getting exciting.

    1. A fairly full day, well, it seemed that way anyway! It was a great sky this morning, almost makes it worth wearing myself out!
Quite busy in town and on the bus, it is half term though.
