Ruby is back in the act!

Forgot to take Ruby along yesterday so took her out and about today. I went to see Bel whO has a really cute mouse ornament.
I came home for a bit, but as the weather was fine and my legs weren’t too bad I decided to walk down to the sea and have pensioners fish and chips.
The wind was chilly but a lively day for a stroll. A few sea shots.

I was trying for a selfie and the someone’s dog joined in!
The clouds threatened rain but they soon cleared!
I walked back starting on the trail path. The bind weed in this field was amazing, taken quite a hold and flowering.

Came off to head fo Witty’s Passage to town.
The ivy on this fence was pretty amazing.
Had a quiet afternoon, while waiting for the shopping this evening I noticed the moon was pretty bright. I didn’t have the monopod in the house so had to hold the camera as steady as I could.
The last two did pick up the bright star.

Feeling quite tired and I have the cat on my lap to stop me doing anything constructive!

  1. Glad to see Ruby is getting out and about again. Perfect size for guarding your fish and chips from those damn seagulls!
Glad you got out and about, specially as the weather looks pleasant. Plus I’ve heard fish and chips at the seaside is very medicinal.
Cute dog while you were taking selfies. Ruby looks a bit worried though!
Nice walk back. I like avenues of trees like that. Although the steps look a bit of a killer! I think Ruby thinks so too.
I saw some ivy today too, and it was on a fence. Trouble is it was a fence I was replacing, so not quite so nice to look at.
Even on a “quiet” day you still manage to fit plenty in. But make the most of the reasonable weather while you can. Someone was telling me today that I could have snow on the ground by the end of this month!
The bright star in your moon pics is probably Venus. Astronomical photography to add to your skill list 😊
Not surprised your feeling tired. You’ve walked a fair bit. Enjoy relaxing for the rest of the evening, the constructive things can wait until another day.

    1. Do feel really tired this evening, should try and do some gardening tomorrow, but we will see.
I need to have a walk when the legs are less painful, a case of use it or lose it!
