At the weekend I bought some strong glue and stuck th fairy house that I bought to one of the pavers, just in case someone takes a fancy to it the pavers will have to go too!
.
I went out early this morning to see about the edging.
I managed to get the edging in, needed to do some tidying it off again after.
Looks quite reasonable now.
The next job will be to paint up the large block of stone to look like a fairy house.
The rest of the day I took a lot of stuff to the charity shop and also packed and sent off a large package, then planted up some flowers that Tina brought home with her last night. Then I decided to decoupatch a box, very simply, but I like it.
Second part of the box decorating course tomorrow.
I can’t get over how different the garden looks with the edging in place. It really does tidy everything up. It’ll look great with some new gravel. That’ll be quite a few tons I’d bet!
ReplyDeleteI think the fairy garden will look great. It was a really good idea. Hopefully with it being very close to the house you won’t have trouble with fairy bandits! As well as glue, you could get Darren to wire the bits up to the mains. That’d give any would be ne’er do well a shock!
You certainly keep busy.
It really is taking shape. Next month I will be on a bulb planting mission! Tina has had messages that the transformation is going down very well in the town! I think wiring things up would not be considered pc!
DeleteFantastic the faeries will be delighted I hope the Pixies don’t start squatting before they get there but knowing you you will accommodate all pointy eared magical beings in your patch 😂 it really is wondrous xxx
ReplyDeleteHave to get that big lump of stone in and paint it soon, will be fun adding to it. X
