This afternoon I have used the little dies that Tina bought for me and an alphabet die I had and proceeded to make a very fiddly card, it will be a one off.
This evening I went for a quick drive with Tina, she had a letter to deliver, we drove by the sea on the way back. We have had major road Works going on in the a evenings for a week or so now. They were out the front tonight and had a most fantastic machine that was taking up a channel in the road and spraying it out into another lorry.
There was another smack digger type machine, plus many more down the street.
That gap is right in front of our drive so we are hoping they will be finished by the time Darren gets home from his club.
You’ve been quite busy again. Not sure why I’m surprised really as there aren’t many days when you’re not!
ReplyDeleteLove the fairy house. The fairy garden is going to look really good with stuff like this. I really hope that nothing goes missing once it’s all done. You do hear of gnomes etc getting purloined, and I even saw a video of a couple pinching someone’s front lawn once. It had just been turfed and they rolled up all the bits and took them!
Wow, that card is great. I can see that it would have been a nightmare to do, but well worth the effort you’ve put into it. The crab is very cute.
That is a very powerful ma hinge to dig a trench like that. But I suppose they have to do it quickly so people like Darren can get home! Hope he made it ok. Back in the days of the navvies and the tea breaks he wouldn’t have stood a chance :-)
It has been an interesting day, and Tina and I were both fascinated by the trench cutter, not something we are likely to see again. We are pleased that the house is set back as it is very noisy out there! Tweezers and patience needed for the card, especially the individual letters. Tina suggested I use the strong glue to stick the house to one of the halfpenny pavers, not a bad idea.
