Last night I decided to grovel on the floor to see if I could find the missing piece of the micro jigsaw. Amazingly I found it and then examined the puzzle to see if I could find which piece was in the wrong place. The pieces are so tiny, but I did finish the puzzle and got it framed, it is now in the box to go to the church bazaar.
The waning morning moon was there out of my window when I came to the computer.
I caught the bus into town as I had a hair appointment and then was collecting a new pair of glasses. We often have some great buskers in town, plus the living statues, so often something interesting. But today there was a lute player and it was lovely.
All afternoon I have been knitting a little penguin from a book my friend sent me. It is on small needles and four ply wool, so a little fiddly.
Then I made his/her jumper!!
Watching a bit of Children in Need tonight.
The puzzle looks really good in that frame, it seems a shame to give it away. The fact it's obviously a puzzle makes it look even better. The penguin is really cute. Several of them for the bazaar would sell well I'd think. It's warmer to sit in and knit rather than venture out in the cold too!
ReplyDeleteToo late for the bazaar this year, it is the day after I get back from the trip.Might try something else in the book now as I have the right wool and needles.
