I have finished my Liane Moriarty book today, she is such a good writer, can't wait for the next one now! Darren and I went to Sainsbury's as it is Nectar Double Up time. We only actually doubled up in the clothing department, but there is time if we think of anything else we would like to take advantage of. Back home I have done quite a bit or ironing and also thought I would make a bag to put the collapsible walking stick in.
I did some quick measurements, sorted out some material and got the machine out, not had an airing for quite a while! I used Velcro as a fastener.
Nothing much else to report today, may be a bit busier tomorrow.
A pretty quiet day for you from the sound of it. Although you should be taking it easy as you'll have some hectic times coming up soon.
ReplyDeleteThe little bag looks ok. It's been a while since you done a bit of sewing. Has it made you want to do any more?
Yes, I think when I get back I will do a bit more. Would like to make another one like the one I sent to my friend a couple of weeks back. The log cabin pattern.
DeleteOnly just caught up with your blog, love you little bag you made for the walking stick, mine came with a sturdy plastic one. Not that I use the stick much as it hurts my elbow. The little boy looks very happy chappie. Won't do you any harm to rest up, the weather is on the turn for a few days. Take care xx
ReplyDeleteHe was a cutie and I love the name Theodore. Joanne said most people call him Theo or Teddy but she uses his full name. I thought a bag would be good for the stick because otherwise everything else would get caught up with it! x
