I watched the David Attenborough program last night, wonderful photography and amazing action as usual. This morning I decided to look up the red crabs as I thought one would look good on a plaque. I drew it on this morning before going shopping with Darren.
After shopping Darren dropped me off near the post office in town before he went home. I had my walking stick and bus pass so was going to catch a bus home when I had wandered around. It was quite cold and the rain kept coming and going. I walked down Huntriss to look at the bay, it was raining when I took this photo.
I got some wrapping paper and bags for Christmas, a few toiletries and then went to Waterstones to see if they had the new Liane Moriarty novel. This is her seventh novel and I have loved the previous six so am hopeful this one will be just as good.
This afternoon I started painting the crab.
I ended up walking down to the post box twice this afternoon, but at least in wasn't raining, I got hailed on when I was walking back from the bus stop. I finished the plaque a little while ago, apart from the last coat of varnish.
I have two more plaques but have no plans for them at the moment.

  1. As soon as I saw the crab I thought of the program last night, that was even before I started reading your entry. They certainly were very bright and colourful little things. The plaque looks really good and certainly topical :-)
Looks very miserable in your seascape. It stayed dry here this morning, but it's been pretty miserable for the rest of the day. Really cold again too.
