I spent a while sorting stuff out for the charity shop and for the church bazaar. I have let the place get cluttered and have been knocking things down and irritating myself! The cats were looking cute yesterday evening with Blue using Charlie as a cushion!
Darren had a bit of shopping to get and I needed milk, we went to Sainsbury's and had some lunch and got a few things. Then Darren dropped me off at the studio as I had bought some plate stands for them in town yesterday. We had a chat, mainly about the American election, which is most definitely the topic of the day! I actually kept the radio on all night so that I was drifting in and out of hearing about it as it developed. I walked up to the cliff top when I left, almost wished I hadn't as it was really, really cold and rainy. Lots of empty benches along the cliff top on this grey November day.
The bay even looks cold, if that is possible!
Even so there were a couple of surfers out there, truly out of their minds.... I have been hunting for a couple of small canvasses I painted a while ago, I am beginning to think that I may have put them in a charity bag as I cannot think of anywhere else to look. Have sorted some more stuff to get rid of though, so not a complete waste of time. My mail order magazine came today and the free gift is really good this time, so I will be making these little table crackers.

  1. The bay looks freezing, and the surfers must be half sharp to want to go out into that water on a day like that. I can't see how it can be enjoyable in any shape or form! They should get a sensible hobby like most other people :-)
It's been cold and wet here all day, but I think Scarborough probably wins the cold stakes. I know I usually encourage you to go out, but if I were you I'd stay at home tucked up in the warm while it's like that.
The little crackers should look good when they're done. Wont be long now before its Christmas....again! Bet the cakes are nice and moist now too.

  2. It was bitter up there, some people must have blood! I think the cakes are due a feed, will be ready for the next step when I get back. The little crackers don't have snaps, you just put confetti and maybe a little gift inside.
